American, 19th century, brass trigger guard and back strap, 4 in. octagon barrel, 31 percussion, pocket model, walnut grip, top of barrel flat and marked "Cooper Firearms Mfg. Co. Frankford, Phia, PA. Pat. Jan 7, 1851/April 25, 1854/ Sep 4, 1860/ Sep 1, 1863/ Sep 22, 1863", matching serial number of "739" is marked on underside of barrel, loading cylinder, loading lever, and back strap, marked "W" on forward of trigger guard, 10-1/2 in.
