American, 19th century, octagonal 8 in. barrel with raised sight, loading lever, top of barrel reads, "B. F. Joslyn/Patd May 4th, 1858", serial number under loading lever and on trigger guard "2052", number "20" on inside of cylinder,  side hammer, backstraps

Provenance:From the Estate of Judge David Creekmore, Knoxville, Tennessee

Condition:

patina, pitting, denting and scratching to metal throughout, possibly replaced grips, grime in cylinders, damage to nipples, marring to screw heads
