American, 19th century, .36 caliber single action revolver with octagonal steel barrel with raised sight, rotating six cylinder, brass trigger guard and back strap, loading lever, visible serial numbers match "50272" on trigger guard, lock plate, base of loading lever, cylinder and on butt, marked under loading lever "3862", stamped "Colt's Patent" and "36 Cal", 7-1/2 in. barrel
