What we Sell

Our auctions include a diverse mix of fine art and antiques. Consignments come primarily from estates and private collections, as well as property deaccessioned from museums.

We conduct about seven major catalog sales a year, most of which include 18th and 19th century American and European furniture, paintings, silver, jewelry, folk art, oriental rugs, porcelain, glass, and a wide range of decorative objects. We have sold a number of important collections of Southern furniture, paintings, silver and related decorative arts.

We have also sold collections of antique firearms, coins, decoys, toys, classic automobiles, outsider art, and Asian art. When appropriate, we offer significant collections as single-owner sales, both at our gallery in Asheville and occasionally on site.

Our sales are widely publicized, and color catalogues and brochures for each auction are sent to approximately 18,000 buyers in 50 states and 35 foreign countries. National advertising and our internet presence, including live bidding, email communication and social media insure extensive international coverage.
