with barnyard animals, tweed-textured saddled pony with a chicken below, spotted dog to each side, abstract fruit and flower border, vegetable-dyed wool on homespun linen, cotton ticking backing, vibrant colors, New England, mid 19th century, 53 x 33-1/2 in.

Velcro strips to attach to board backing, slight fading, scattered repairs especially to areas above each dog, wear, grime, wear and losses to binding, not examined under backing.
