When you arrive at our gallery, go to the registration desk to register for a bidder number. You will need to show a valid Driver’s License and a Master Card or Visa credit card. If you do not wish to use a credit card, you must provide a bank letter of credit indicating your account number and the level of credit available. This letter must be provided prior to the auction so the information can be verified with your bank. You may also pay by cash or wire transfer.
Print and complete our Absentee Bid Form (PDF) indicating your maximum bid on each lot, excluding the buyer’s premium.
Return this form to us by fax (828-254-6545), or regular mail (PO Box 2135, Asheville, NC 28802). Please allow 3-6 working days for surface mail.
Be sure to sign the form at the bottom. We require a MasterCard or VISA number to secure your absentee bid. Alternately, you may arrange a cash deposit of 1/3 of your bid total.
Absentee bids left with us are executed confidentially and competitively. If your maximum bid is $500 and the bidding stops at $200, the lower price is the selling price to you. However, you must be prepared to go as high as your maximum bid. We never disclose to anyone any information about absentee bids.

We reserve phones on a first come, first served basis.
These must be received by the close of business on the evening immediately prior to the day of the auction. No telephone reservations are accepted unless this signed form is received.
We require a MasterCard or VISA number to reserve a telephone, but you are not required to pay for purchases by credit card. Lot numbers and a short description of the items should also be indicated on the form.
During the auction, a member of our staff will call you about 3 minutes before the item comes up, and help you bid live at the auction. We sell an item about every 45 seconds and you must be prepared to bid quickly. We sell in the numerical order indicated in the catalog, and we sell about 70-90 lots an hour.

To participate in our auction online, clients should visit Bidsquare.com and either log in to an existing account or create new one. To create a new Bidsquare account visit Bidsquare and click “Register” which is located near the top right corner of the page. If you already have an account with Bidsquare simply click on “Login” and enter your credentials to access your account.
